C3 is the first non-governmental entity to open a branch office on a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) laboratory campus. C3|Oak Ridge is located at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. ORNL occupies a strategic position as the DOE’s hub for its government/ industry interface, a position from which C3 continues to benefit through its long-standing relationship with ORNL. Dr. Arvid Pasto, former director of ORNL's High Temperature Materials Laboratory, is the Director of C3|Oak Ridge and coordinates C3’s research partnerships with all national, private, and university laboratories from the Oak Ridge facility.
